Pizza and Caesar salad might not be the combination you expect, but somehow it works beautifully. A golden chicken crust becomes the base for crisp Caesar salad, red onion, and Parmesan, giving every slice a satisfying mix of savory, creamy, and crunchy. 🤍

This low-carb, high-protein dinner comes together in about 30 minutes and is such a fun way to switch up the usual pizza routine. No traditional crust needed, just slice, top, and dig in! 🍕✨

**Servings:** 4 slices

### Ingredients

#### For the Chicken Crust

- 1 large egg (50 g)
- 1 tsp onion powder (2.4 g)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (3.1 g)
- ½ tsp dried oregano (0.5 g)
- ½ tsp salt (3 g)
- ½ tsp black pepper (1 g)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (113 g)
- 1 lb ground chicken breast (454 g)

#### For the Caesar Topping

- 9 oz chopped romaine lettuce (255 g)
- ½ red onion (about 60 g), thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Caesar salad dressing (60 ml), or more to taste
- 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese (10 g), or more to taste
- Pinch of red pepper flakes, optional

### Directions

1. Preheat the oven to **400°F (200°C)**. Line a **13-inch (33 cm) pizza pan** with parchment paper or lightly greased foil. A half-sheet pan can also be used. For easier cleanup, place a second sheet pan on the lower oven rack to catch any liquid that may escape during baking.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the mozzarella, then add the ground chicken and mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
3. Transfer the chicken mixture to the prepared pan. Using a spatula, spread it into an approximately **11-inch (28 cm) circle**. If using a sheet pan, shape it into a rectangle instead.
4. Bake for **20–25 minutes**, rotating the pan halfway through, until the chicken crust is cooked through and golden brown on top. Some liquid may collect around the crust while it cooks, but it should evaporate by the end of baking.
5. Remove the crust from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
6. While the crust cools, place the chopped romaine in a bowl. Add the Caesar dressing and toss until the lettuce is evenly coated.
7. Cut the chicken crust into **4 slices**. Top each slice with the dressed Caesar salad, red onion, Parmesan, and optional red pepper flakes.
8. Serve immediately.

### Storage

If saving part of the crust for later, keep the Caesar salad separate. Dress and add the lettuce only immediately before serving so the crust stays firm.
